Procchio is a small, welcoming, colorful hamlet that wakes up in the summer with small bars, restaurants, stalls, live music and much more. A seaside resort located on the north coast, exactly in the center of the little fish (shape of the Island of Elba seen from above). Procchio is small, it extends for a few kilometers, but nothing is missing to spend a pleasant holiday on Elba.

In addition to enjoying the beauty and the summer vitality of the village, crossing the avenue bordered by splendid pine trees that leads to the sea, you can enjoy its beach, magnificent when the scirocco wind blows. The Procchio beach, just under a kilometer long, is one of the largest and most beautiful sandy beaches on the island, reaching four locations: Procchio, Campo all'Aia, Cantone and La Guardiola on the right side of the gulf, where it forms a fabulous cove, with the colors of the sand that blend with those of the rocky coast and the Mediterranean scrub.

The Procchio beach is suitable for young and old, families with children, who can safely play in the water, which continues low for many meters beyond the shore.

On the beach it will be possible to practice a large number of activities, thanks to the rentals and establishments available (tennis court, gym, fitness, boat rental, jet ski rental, kayak rental, pedal boat rental, Banana Boat Tours, Flyboard rental, water skiing , diving, sailing school, surf school).

In the heart of the village of Procchio, a few steps from the beach, you will find bars for breakfast or for an iced aperitif, restaurants with local specialties and pizzerias, markets, supermarkets, baker, pastry shops, the post office, a bank with an ATM, shops and a gym. In the village there is also a small playground, with slides and swings, which in the evening is filled with stalls.

Not to be missed, not far from Procchio, are the villages of Marina di Campo and Marciana Marina: go and look for the photos of the fires of Santa Chiara on August 12 in Marciana, or the photos of the Color Festival in Marina di Campo and you will understand what we are talking about.

How to get to Procchio beach:
During the summer, parking in the village is subject to charges and then you reach the beach along a road reserved for pedestrians. The village is easily accessible and is served by public transport and the Marebus service of the municipality of Marciana. In addition, access to the beach is also possible from Campo all'Aia, where there is an unpaved parking lot.
From the Casale Caterina Resort, Procchio is only about 11 minutes by car. Returning to the provincial road, turn left and continue for about 7 kilometers to Procchio.
